Do you think that would be a good idea? I mean, given some of my... [ known associations with prisoners and fugitives, which she suddenly decides is probably not a thing she should mention to renee. ] ...history?

[ underage drinking, murder, petty theft, tendency to violence. more things she probably shouldn't mention to a cop, which it really feels underlined to be exactly what renee is, in a way that it hasn't since they first met. ]

I don't know, it would seem a little weird.

[ human law is weird and it will never stop being weird. she had a very close friend who was really invested in alternian law, they pretty much just mutually concluded that the law here is weird. ]

What kind of effort would it require, if I were to accept? I mean, the expected tasks.

Administrative support. Answer phones, organize files, write memos and reports.

So, it would just be clerical, then? What kind of hours would it require, I do have other obligations to see to as well.

It's part-time. 15 to 20 hours per week.

I'll have to think about it, how I'll be able to manage my time between it and my other job. [ and whether it's even a good idea to begin with. ] Are you sure I'll be right for the position?

I'm a waitress at the Pie Hole, and given that this will be an internship, I'm assuming my pay won't be anything close to what I'm currently taken in from tips.

And, well, she can't really argue about the pay. Even her salary wasn't much. ]

Probably not, but you'd have me as a co-worker. [ As if that makes up for the difference in wages. ]
