I haven't done anything to him. Not that I know of anyway. He's mates with Crane though. Maybe they get together every Thursday and have a good old gossip over tea and biscuits.

crane and you have developed a mutual dislike for each other
but hes friends with crane for some reason and therefore follows basic pack instincts that a threat to another member of his pack is a threat to him also
essentially his friend isnt your friend so you arent any friend of his

you see this sort of phenomenon a lot in high schools

i feel confident that this correlation is no coincidence

I don't know about deadly psychic powers but I do have a new power I wouldn't mind trying out on one of them.

because beyond laser beams or spontaneous combustion i cant imagine what sort of real hurt a glare could initiate
there are some classical beasts who could petrify with a look

That's what I thought. I might end up accidentally destroying an entire wing of his mind palace. Knowing my luck, it would have information we really need in the future.

but it makes me think this may be some sort of psychic attack?

It's not a psychic attack, it's a memory technique. A mental map where he can find everything he's ever learned. His is a palace, mine's a bungalow.

He might seem like he's psychic when you first meet him, but he's just very observant. I think he'd find you interesting.
