I would have thought the same thing, but... well.

But no, not right now; I don't think my stomach can handle the trip just yet. Even thinking about it is giving me vertigo.

They scurried me off to Nonah. Looks like they actually bothered assigning me a residence here. And a job. Wow. [ There's a background noise of papers being moved. ] They're going to pay me to run a blog. I guess they figured out they shouldn't try to make me endure the general public.

[ A pause. ]

Breakfast would be nice.

Your room's still mostly intact here, and I kept all of your paintings. It's still your money paying the rent. [ She had almost given up, but not quite. For one of Lachesis' favorites, you can't just decide they won't come back for a while. ] If you don't want to stay in Nonah, you don't have to. But I suppose that is all your decision.

But breakfast I can do. Any preferences?

They didn't freeze my bank accounts? That's good to hear.

[ And thank god for Oswald Cobblepot giving her so much money that she could afford to pay for an apartment she wasn't living in for months at a time without any other income to supplement it. ]

As for breakfast... anything that doesn't come wrapped in six pounds of bacon would be a good start. The more fruit, the better, for me.

Right. I'll need to go shopping, I don't think I have much in the pantry except hummingbird feed at the moment.

[ Because what else are you going to feed a giant moth larva? ]

But I'll get it sorted. Do crepes sound alright to you?

I really only keep a bag or two at a time. They aren't huge bags, but I guess they're not exactly small, either.
