I'm sure I could find some ideas, but it would have to be left to you to sort through which ones aren't terrible. I'm sure someone in your position wouldn't have contacted me without being familiar with my recent history.

Of course. I'm very thorough. And odd story: A clean record, then a sudden bout of violent and inexplicable crimes. Then you make every effort to make amends for your actions.

A curious thing. But I'm not interested in your checkered past. We all have our demons. But it's not their existence that defines us, rather how we choose live with them. And your actions tell me you're sincere about making a difference. ...For the community if not yourself.

I have always been sincere in my concerns for our community. However tenuous my own good standing in it may be, there are bigger pictures to consider.
