Month long port-outs are a nightmare.

ive never had one that lasted quite so long
im sure it must be disorienting if you had no time corresponding time on the other side
do you need to be caught up

i cant exactly say what to make of it
space has always been my specialty not time
either way i spent about half a day in what might have possibly been the past
it certainly wasnt the present that i can say
im still working to piece it together

inasmuch as doing okay is ever a thing that could be said of me
im still working out the specifics of the timeframe
i hadnt exactly asked anyone
i dont think that it was something i was actually experiencing so much as a shared vision of some sort
but from what ive been able to discern it was somewhere in the vicinity of three decades

Are we sure it wasn't some kind of trick?
What DID you see?

well when i came out of it my arm was back and i hadnt seemed to go anywhere
so theres a very good chance that none of it really happened at all
but we were shown something and we were shown it collectively
i have difficulty imagining that it wasnt deliberate

it was some sort of presentation i can say that for certain
perhaps a technological inauguration of some sort
there was confetti all about until it started latching on to the people and blowing them to pieces

i cant really say for certain
that might depend on who caused it
but i doubt it came from lachesis she would have sent us wherever directly

i can tell you that i lost a number of hours apparently standing idle as it occurred
theres some possibility that it was the side effect of some method attempting to disable us

Shutting us off like robots?
You know, that makes sense to me. If someone out there wanted us out of the way and can't kill us at once or at all, disabling us somehow might have been easier to accomplish.

it makes me wonder if what we saw meant anything at all
perhaps it was the point of the exercise
but perhaps it was only a distraction
i suppose all of the possibilities need to be explored

A weird side effect of whatever happened?
When did this all happen anyway? And was it a specific location or was it spread out?

it was last friday
but i couldnt speak to the exact spread
i dont think any of the others i encountered resided in maurtia falls
and i find it unlikely that they were all just up for a visit at the specific time
either way i think the vision or whatever we may decide to call it was set in de chima

i doubt you would have seen what we did even if you were in de chima at the time
it was barely the same city

Can't help it.
Seems like every time I have my back turned for a second something else goes down and I wasn't there to help.
Not sure how I would or could have in this case... but I still feel kind of bad.

thats the drawback to an overdeveloped sense of responsibility
everything becomes your fault whether you it had anything to do with you or not
its a phenomenon ive been encountering with an alarming frequency recently
and even without looking in the mirror
